The Urban Introspection
A day otherwise ordinary,
That day when you tend to go solitary,
The morning-dew on the window-sill you analyze,
Your wee-little image in it- you scrutinize!
You look around,
Suddenly awe-bound;
Discovering one thing of utter beauty after another,
To yourself you say,"Never had I felt so,...nah, never!"
And you realize you aren't the same,
The common man within, is all set to play the game-
And you cry out, "This is LIFE, my brother,
The biggest game played ever!
Here you tell one pretty thing from the other,
And to the ironic beauty of the world, you surrender!"
This is the very day you went solitary
A day that was never.....ordinary!
